NEW YORK (WPIX) – Today’s snow storm is hindering commuter traffic of all sorts.
According to the New Jersey Transit website, bus service for all routes North of I-495 is suspended until further notice. All trains on the Port Jervis Line may experience delays of up to an hour.

The MTA’s Metro North system is operating on a special winter weather schedule during this morning’s peak hours. The schedule calls for combining and eliminating trains, and is available at mta.info this morning before you go to the rails for your commute. Customers should expect delays of 5-10 minutes due to the service change.
The LIRR is experiencing delays on the Babylon, Far Rockaway, Hempstead, Long Beach, Montauk, Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson, Port Washington, Ronkonkoma and West Hempstead lines and service changes on several others.
