Actress Alicia Silverstone came on the show today to promote her role in the hit Broadway show “Time Stands Still.”

The play focuses on James and Sarah, a journalist/photographer couple that is committed to documenting the realities of war. The couple is forced to return to a comparatively inactive life after each of them is injured. The show is about the different things they do to cope with their new, conventional life.

Sarah, the journalist, is portrayed by Laura Linney (The Nanny Diaries),and James, the photographer, is played by Brian d’Arcy James (“Shrek the Musical”). They share the stage with Eric Bogosian (Law and Order: Criminal Intent), who plays Linney’s editor and Silverstone, who plays a party planner for the couple.

Silverstone is still remembered for her first big role as Cher Horowitz in Clueless. You should catch the show at the Samuel J. Friedman theatre before it closes on March 27th. Tickets sell for between $60 and $120.
